About Us
I am proud to be the principal of Medomak Valley High School! I remember when the school opened joining the five towns of RSU 40 in 1968. The school was a second home to me and my family as my dad was the principal for many years. Having taught at various schools and levels in the district and the region for thirty years, I entered administration with the goal of continuing to make a difference for students and families. I am committed to being the best leader I can possibly be for a school community that has my heart.
Our mission is to provide a safe and academically engaging environment that prepares students for lifelong learning, meaningful employment, civic responsibility, and global awareness in the 21st Century. We have many programs here to meet the needs of our population including rigorous advanced placement and early college offerings, special education programs, alternative programming with both an onsite program and a distance learning offering, visual and performing arts opportunities, athletics, and additional extracurricular activities like outdoor club, chess, and math team.
With a vision of Learning, Growing, Achieving Together, we continuously assess our course offerings, refine curriculum, implement new initiatives, and in short actively seek best practice opportunities for our students and their families.
We invite you to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have.
We love our Panther Nation!
