Class Time

Class room time is very important to the Rivers Alternative Middle School (RAMS) because we get graded on everything we do including our conduct, how well we stay on task, our behavior and how well we do our work.

The best thing about our class time is we get to learn about things we had never learned before. Sometimes we do our work good but other times we just fool around which gets us no where. The teachers here make class time very fun sometimes because we all just want to get our work done so we can get out of class.

The classes that we have are math, language arts, science and social studies. The teachers sometimes try to make some of the work really hard but most of the time we can do it. We are always doing something because if you get done with something you just go do something else.

I used to really hate sitting in class, but now I know that I can do the work and if is too hard, the teachers will help me. The best part about coming to school here is my grades have gone up a lot. Mostly that makes my parents happy, but I like it too.
