Pay-It-Forward

Every Wednesday we go do Pay-It-Forward, or PIF. PIF is when we go out in the community and help organizations that help the community. We stay and help for one to two hours per week and it is very fun. Not only is it fun, but you also know that you are doing a good deed for the community.

One of the PIF’s we do is going to the Humane Society to help out with the animals. Another PIF we do is that we go to the Warren Community School and we help with gym classes, music classes and art classes. Some of the other kids go to other places like the fire station, Meals on Wheels and Bartlett Woods which is a retirement community.

The good thing about PIF’s is we know that we are doing a good thing for the community and helping others with what they do. These hands-on activities help us learn to be responsible and respectful when we are in the community. We are always enthusiastic about going to PIF’s because we know that it will always be fun too.
