Grease!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here is Rydell High\u2019s senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding \u201cBurger Palace Boys\u2019 and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking \u201cPink Ladies\u201d in bobby sox and pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking musical. Head \u201cgreaser\u201d Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their \u201cSummer Nights\u201d as the rest of the gang sings and dances its way through such songs as \u201cGreased Lightnin\u2019,\u201d \u201cIt\u2019s Raining on Prom Night\u201d and \u201cAlone at the Drive-In Movie,\u201d recalling the music of Buddy Holly, Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. An eight-year run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals, along with innumerable school and community productions, place\u00a0Grease<\/em>\u00a0among the world\u2019s most popular musicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
